Word in Action Ministries is a Christian fellowship which started when Word In Action Bible College implemented the Teamwork Bible College Curriculum for Bible Study. Teamwork Bible College has since become a University, namely Teamwork Impact University which has been registered with the South African Government.

OUR MISSION STATEMENT
We encourage believers to become doers of the word of God and not hearers only: to go out and preach the Gospel to heal the sick, to set the captives free, bring comfort to the brokenhearted, speak up for the oppressed, set at liberty those that are bound and to loose the chains of bondage in peoples lives.

Mathew 28: 19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you.

Mark 16: 15 – 18 Go into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned
And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues; they shall take up serpents and if they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover.

Our mission at Word in Action Ministries is to Empower the Body of Christ to move forward. Our ministry is launched on James 1:22 Be ye doers of the word and not hearers only.

Whatever the need we are here to help. We are also practicing pure religion to look after the widows and orphans.

I would like to draw your attention to Hebrews 4:12

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

It is imperative not only to believe the word of God but to be absolutely confident that the bible is exactly what God says it is-His word to us, God speaking to us. It is Gods revelation to us.

The Amplified says it this way: Hebrews 4:12

For the word that God speaks is alive and full of power-making it active, operative, energizing and effective; it is sharper than any two-edged sword , penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and (the immortal) spirit, and of the joints and marrow (that is, of the deepest parts of our nature) exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

The Scripture that our ministry is launched on is:
James 1:22 But become doers of the word, and not hearers
Only, thereby deceiving your own selves.

Another Scripture that has given me great joy is: Jeremiah 15:16

Your words were found, and I ate them, and your word was to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord, God of hosts.

Another vision that I have for the ministry is to start a training centre where we can train men, women and children of God to become effective ministers in the Kingdom of god, where we could equip them to do the work of the ministry according to the Word of God.

Ephesians 4:11-12 And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists and some pastors and teachers,
For the equipping of the saints for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ.
