Confession
Hebrews 4:12 For the Word that God speaks and the Word that I speak is alive and full of power – making it operative and energizing and effective; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and (the immortal) spirit, and of the joints and marrow (that is, of the deepest parts of our nature) exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.
When our Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself up to be crucified and after His resurrection He brought the church into covenant relationship with Himself. Everything that belongs to Jesus He gives to us and everything we have belongs to Him. Christ in us the hope of glory. We are perfected in him.
Every word that He speaks we can speak. Remember in Mark 11:23-24 Jesus said Truly, I tell you, whosoever says to this mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he says will take place; it will be done for him.
For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe –trust and be confident –that it is granted to you and you will (get it).
We need to realize that we are in covenant with the Lord and all things are possible to them who believe. Sometimes when things are going wrong and everything looks bleak, we need to remember our covenant that Jesus shed every drop of His precious blood so that we can be saved from all the plans devised against us from the evil one (the devil)
Also remember that the word of God will not return to Him empty but He will confirm His word with signs following and all that He has spoken it forth to do. The Scriptures cannot be broken and the Word of God cannot be bound.
God the Father brought us into covenant with Himself through the shed blood of Jesus the Son. He also sealed us with the precious Holy Spirit. We have been baptized with the Holy Ghost who empowers us to live in the new covenant and enables us to work the great commission given to the church, to preach the Gospel, to heal the sick to deliver the oppressed and to set the captives free.
Scriptures tell us that since the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now dwells in us He will quicken our mortal bodies. Saints it is time to rise up and live in this glorious power which has been bestowed on us by the Father Himself. Jesus has given us all authority over the enemy.
2Tim 1:6-7 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands,
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and of a sound mind.
The gift that Paul is talking to Timothy about here is being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. As believers we can turn tongues on and off as we will. The Apostle Paul admonishes us to speak in tongues as this edifies us.
The nine gifts of the Holy Spirit operate as the Spirit wills and not as we will, whereby even the unbelievers get miracles and healing.
When the believer prays in tongues, the power of God operates and fear, doubt and distrust leave.
Remember where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom from fear and bondage. Satan hates tongues and will do everything in his power to stop the child of God from praying in tongues.
Jude: 20 But ye beloved, building up your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.
When Jesus went back to heaven He did not leave a powerless church behind. He told His disciples that they should wait for the day of Pentecost. He would send them a helper, a comforter who would help and comfort them.
Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.
This power comes upon you when you receive the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Child of God you need to pray in tongues as much and as often as you can. Teach yourself to do this and you will see what a difference this makes in your life.
Stress will leave you, depression will leave you, and oppression will leave you. Your immune system will be restored naturally. You will also learn to hear the voice of God, who will guide and lead you in all your ways.
