Word in Action Ministries - September 2011 Newsletter
----------------------------------------------------------------------

Greetings to all you redeemed ones, washed in the blood of the Lamb. We are nearing the end of the year and I believe the best is yet to come. One thing I do know is that we are living in the time when good is called evil and evil is called good and lawlessness prevails.

This is indeed the last days that we are living in. In the Gospel of Mathew the Word of God tells us to see that no man deceive you. Mathew also says that many would come appropriating the name of Jesus and will lead many people astray. We need to be very careful who we listen to and follow in these days.

Mathew 24:4 Jesus answered them, Be careful, that no one misleads you – deceiving you and leading you into error.

There are many doctrines of demons been preached and people are saying “Who then is right?” We need to know the Word of God for ourselves that we may discern between righteousness and wickedness. Jesus warned that a little leaven leavens the whole lump. Meaning a little error can cause the whole being in error.

The Word of God tells us that we are to warn, encourage and admonish one another. This age is soon coming to a close. In the Book of 2 Peter 3: The Word warns that there will be mockers in the last days saying: where is the sign of His coming for even the Forefathers have been saying this since the beginning?

2 Peter 3:3-4 to begin with you must know and understand this, that scoffers (mockers) will come in the last days with scoffing; (people who) walk after their own fleshly desires. And saying, where is the promise of His coming? For since the forefathers fell asleep, all things have continued exactly as they did from beginning of creation

I believe that the rapture of the church is imminent and could happen at any moment. Prophetically speaking there is nothing else that has to happen before the return of our Lord and Savior for His bride. And then a time of terrible tribulation will start on the earth. We need to be Rapture Ready.

1 Thessalonians 4: 16-17 for the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a loud cry of summons, with the shout of an archangel, and with the blast of the trumpet of God. And those who have departed this life in Christ will rise first. Then we, the still living who remain (on the earth), shall simultaneously be caught up along with (the resurrected dead) in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air; and so always – through the eternity of eternities – we shall be with the Lord.

Watch the Middle East. Israel is always referred to in Scripture as the fig tree. We are told in the Word of God to: pray that all Israel will be saved and we are to pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

From the fig tree learn its lesson: as soon as its young shoots become soft and tender and it puts out its leaves, you know of a surety that summer is near. So also when you see all these things taken together coming to pass, you may know of a surety that He is near, at the very doors. Truly I tell you, this generation – that is, the whole multitude of people living at the same time, in a definite given period – will not pass away till all these things taken together take place.

We are to really pray for Israel at this time as they are going through warfare as never before and the Word of God commands us to pray that all Israel will be saved and to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, as this is where our Lord and Savior will come and rule from with a rod of iron during the millennium reign of 1000 years after the tribulation.

The nations of the world want to make Jerusalem a Palestinian state by the end of September 2011.
Israelis surrounded by enemies. They need our prayers, as they are still a covenant people under Jacob.

Church of Jesus Christ it is time to get on our knees and pray. Woe to the nations who try to divide the land of Israel. We as a fellowship make a stand with Israel and we love the Jewish people. God said in his Word that if you bless Israel He would bless you if you curse Israel He would curse you.

The Scriptures also tells us to work while it is day (in the light) because soon the darkness is coming when no man can work.  While we are the light of the world and the salt of the earth we are actually preserving this world. When we leave the earth at the rapture total darkness takes over and no man will then work the things of the Lord.

We live in a type of Egypt (the world) today the scriptures declare that we are in the world but not of the world. So it is entirely to your advantage to leave the world (or Egypt) behind and walk in the Kingdom of the Son of God’s love.

We are to work the great commission: Preach the Gospel, Heal the sick, cast out demons, and raise the dead, practice pure religion look after the widows and the orphans. Do not cease to do well and seek justice for the oppressed – great is your reward for in so doing. You will reap if you faint not.

Isaiah 53:5 says but He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our guilt and iniquities; the chastisement needful to obtain peace and well being for us was upon Him and with the stripes that wounded Him, we are healed and made whole.

We need to tell this to the world. This is indeed good news to a dying world

John 3:16 For God so lived the World that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him will not perish but have everlasting life.

2 Cor 4:4 Satan is the god of this world and has blinded the minds of those lest they believe the glorious gospel.

We need to do everything in our power to keep the lost out of hell by preaching and teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus Christ is Lord.

I believe that we are seeing the beginning of sorrows, spoken of in Mathew 24. When we see all the signs of the times happening according to the Olivet discourse as taught by Jesus on the Mount of Olives it is time to get ready. We are indeed approaching perilous times as well as the most exciting times of our lives.

This year we are concentrating on the prophetic and the End times. Paul tells us in the book of Thessalonians that we are not to be ignorant concerning the coming of the Lord.  Many churches today are preaching that there is no such thing; there is no rapture, no tribulation. This is called replacement theology. Jesus Himself said that we are to see that no man deceive us!!

We will go on exposing deception in the church until Jesus comes. I really believe that the rapture of the church is sooner than what anyone thinks. We are indeed living in the last second of the last hour and it is time for the bride to get ready to meet the bridegroom.

Do not be one of the foolish virgins in Math 25 who fell asleep and when the bridegroom came they were not ready to meet Him. We need to be awake, watching waiting and praying expecting the bridegroom at any moment.  JESUS IS COMING SOON.

Confession

Hebrews 4:12 For the Word that God speaks and the Word that I speak is alive and full of power – making it operative and energizing and effective; it is sharper than any two-edged sword, penetrating to the dividing line of the breath of life (soul) and (the immortal) spirit, and of the joints and marrow (that is, of the deepest parts of our nature) exposing and sifting and analyzing and judging the very thoughts and purposes of the heart.

When our Lord Jesus Christ gave Himself up to be crucified and after His resurrection He brought the church into covenant relationship with Himself. Everything that belongs to Jesus He gives to us and everything we have belongs to Him. Christ in us the hope of glory. We are perfected in him.

Every word that He speaks we can speak. Remember in Mark 11:23-24 Jesus said Truly, I tell you, whosoever says to this mountain, be lifted up and thrown into the sea! And does not doubt at all in his heart, but believes that what he says will take place; it will be done for him.
For this reason I am telling you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe –trust and be confident –that it is granted to you and you will (get it).

We need to realize that we are in covenant with the Lord and all things are possible to them who believe. Sometimes when things are going wrong and everything looks bleak, we need to remember our covenant that Jesus shed every drop of His precious blood so that we can be saved from all the plans devised against us from the evil one (the devil)

Also remember that the word of God will not return to Him empty but He will confirm His word with signs following and all that He has spoken it forth to do. The Scriptures cannot be broken and the Word of God cannot be bound.

God the Father brought us into covenant with Himself through the shed blood of Jesus the Son.  He also sealed us with the precious Holy Spirit. We have been baptized with the Holy Ghost who empowers us to live in the new covenant and enables us to work the great commission given to the church, to preach the Gospel, to heal the sick to deliver the oppressed and to set the captives free.

Scriptures tell us that since the Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead now dwells in us He will quicken our mortal bodies. Saints it is time to rise up and live in this glorious power which has been bestowed on us by the Father Himself.  Jesus has given us all authority over the enemy.

2 Tim 1:6-7 Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands,
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love and of a sound mind.

The gift that Paul is talking to Timothy about here is being filled with the Holy Spirit and speaking in tongues. As believers we can turn tongues on and off as we will. The Apostle Paul admonishes us to speak in tongues as this edifies us.

The nine gifts of the Holy Spirit operate as the Spirit wills and not as we will, whereby even the unbelievers get miracles and healing.

When the believer prays in tongues, the power of God operates and fear, doubt and distrust leave.
Remember where the Spirit of the Lord is there is freedom from fear and bondage. Satan hates tongues and will do everything in his power to stop the child of God from praying in tongues.

Jude: 20 But ye beloved, building up your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost.

When Jesus went back to heaven He did not leave a powerless church behind. He told His disciples that they should wait for the day of Pentecost. He would send them a helper, a comforter who would help and comfort them.

Acts 1:8 But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you.

This power comes upon you when you receive the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues. Child of God you need to pray in tongues as much and as often as you can. Teach yourself to do this and you will see what a difference this makes in your life.

Stress will leave you, depression will leave you, and oppression will leave you. Your immune system will be restored naturally. You will also learn to hear the voice of God, who will guide and lead you in all your ways.

The great Commission

Math 28:18-20 Then Jesus came and spoke to them saying: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and earth.”
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.”
“Teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to then end of the age.” Amen.

When the Lord told us (His disciples) to go into the entire world, He meant what He said. We are to go and preach the Gospel, heal the sick, cast out demons, set the oppressed free. ” Jesus told His disciples (us) that we would do greater things than what He did.

The power that Jesus has given us over Satan’s power translated from the Greek is (dunamis) meaning dynamite power. Why are Christians still walking around defeated and in fear.  We belong to the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. So let’s take our rightful place in this world and live as God has ordained us to live.

We are to live in victory not as victims, but as victors. So take authority over every thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and bring it into captivity at the feet of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. (2 Corinthians 10:3-5)
The Scripture that we launch our ministry on is:

James 1:22 but become doers of the word and not hearers
only, thereby deceiving your own selves.

Another Scripture that has given me great joy is:

Jeremiah 15:16 Your words were found, and I did eat them, and your word was to me a joy and the rejoicing of my heart; for I am called by Your name, O Lord, God of host
